The Ferrari 308 was launched onto the motoring world in 1975 with its transversely mounted 252bhp four-cam 3-litre V8 and five-speed transmission which was basically taken from the Bertone designed Ferrari 308 GT4 2+2. The Pininfarina designed glass fibre body was very light taking the car from 0-60mph in around 6.5sec and a top speed of over 150mph.
There were two versions: the Ferrari 308 GTB and our one, the Ferrari 308 GTS with its removable centre roof panel making it ideal for wedding shoots and proms.
